On weekends you can enjoy guided visits to Priest Tosca’s model which is one of the MuVIM’s permanent exhibitions, placed in the museum’s hall. Visitors will learn to recognise urban areas, main buildings, persistences and transformations undergone by the city until nowadays.
The miniature is a craftwork led by Vicente Herraíz and Lucas Gómez’s studio (who worked on the project more than 100.000 hours). The model was designed on a 1:500 scale and built with polychromatic, wooden and plastic materials. Every building in the city, including 50.000 trees and 450 house blocks, has been carved and painted by hand.
Groups will be formed in order of arrival.
