This exhibition series rebuilds the cultural and social history of “La Geperudeta” (the Hunchback), a religious icon highly significant for most of people from Valencia. Three exhibitions recall the development of Valencian religiousness and move to reflection on the volatile relationship between typical secularization of the Enlightenment Modernity and the persistence of the most popular manifestations of religious worship.
