FUTURE CHALLENGES, NEW ACTIONS AND METODOLOGY FOR THE CITY OF VALENCIA
  • Llibreries i biblioteques
    Llibreries i biblioteques
On the occasion of the International Day of Bookshops, Inma Pérez and Néstor Mir will run a debate with personalities from the world of culture to talk about bookshops and libraries, about their place in society, about the ways of using them, about what they mean for us and about their future. Free entrance until reaching full capacity of the MuVIM’s Events Room.

What is a bookshop for you? And a library? What is their place in your life? What do you think they exist for? What do you think we can expect from them?

You know you can find books in there, that’s clear for you, but do you know they are an information hub, a communication hub, a social energizer and a link of people, knowledge and needs?

Aware of the current situation of bookshops and libraries whose uses and traditions change and are questioned, on Saturday 17 November at 19h, we invite you to a joint talk-discussion to reflect about them, to raise awareness of their contribution and value in society and why they continue to be necessary for future.
