Visits to Valencia’s model are here again! In the next months you will be able to discover the fields and the city as they were in the XVIII century by attending the guided and free visits to Valencia’s mockup based on the map drawn by Priest Tosca in 1704.

On weekends you can enjoy guided visits to Priest Tosca’s model which is one of the MuVIM’s permanent exhibitions, placed in the museum’s hall. Visitors will learn to recognise urban areas, main buildings, persistences and transformations undergone by the city until nowadays.

The miniature is a craftwork led by Vicente Herraíz and Lucas Gómez’s studio (who worked on the project more than 100.000 hours). The model was designed on a 1:500 scale and built with polychromatic, wooden and plastic materials. Every building in the city, including 50.000 trees and 450 house blocks, has been carved and painted by hand.
